WHY DO THEY NEVER ANSWER CALLS?
I too have a lot of trouble getting into this clinic for an appointment. Sometimes it can take up to a month and a half to two months to get in. The best thing to do is to make a follow up appointment while you are there. That way, you know when you're going back. That being said, the ladies behind the front desk are helpful, professional, and nice. The nurses have wonderful etiquette. The Nurse Practitioner Lauren Nueske is absolutely wonderful. Make dang sure you answer any/all random phone numbers from Rogers, because instead of using ANY available technology they rely on phone calls to confirm appointments and then cancel your carefully planned/scheduled appointment if you happen to go out of town on vacation and don’t answer their calls. Why are they one of the only Mercy Clinics that don’t know how to leverage the MyMercy app for scheduling? Great question, but who has time to listen to their excuses?
I have used Mercy for years and have always loved them but this gastro Department is a mess. The doctor I did have is gone but they never let me know I have a new doctor. Not informing me on that or ever calling to let me know my test results. Do not use Pamela as a nurse she comes off friendly but is massively rude, she has been every time I have a had a visit with my previous doctor.
