Went to the er with pneumonia tried for days getting just a follow up appointment with my doctor or doctor at the clinic for work and meds and just a check up. My appointments kept getting canceled and I got told I need a specific doctor since I recently left the er but that person isn't available for 2 weeks. Then I should be able to get light duty at work. How does a follow up almost 3 weeks after the fact help with light duty when I've already been released back to work? This place is a joke. Lack of compassion was scary. I don't go to hospitals unless absolutely necessary. After 2 trips to Mercy's" Walk in", leaving with zero help I ended up at Phelps Health ER and was immediately helped by 4 people. 2 nurses came running and said they weren't even going to be my nurses but could clearly see I was in need of immediate care. I canceled all appointments and moved to Phelps Health. I never thought I'd say that. Don't bother going here if you need actual care. 10/10/24- I just received a bill from this mess.
