Came to the slam this past Sunday while I was in town from Dayton,OH. I bought one of the CDs, some of the beauty I experienced will be shared.
I had to travel to Denver for work last fall. This required me to live in Denver for the month of October. I had heard about the open mic at The Mercury Cafe, so I decided to check it out, as I am a spoken word artist. I have been to the Merc many times, all special events. I now have two friends who read tarot there so I have an excuse to come just because, have a sip of wine, a bit to eat and enjoy the bohemian ambiance. My kind of place!
