RecommendedI can’t say enough about Mercer automotive. I contacted 4 garages In the area to do a very quick repair for me and I understand short notice is not always a good thing for automotive repair. I pass by this location every day going to work and thought why don’t I give them a try. I called in at 12 got in at 3:45 I was out By 4 PM. An honest mechanic! Reasonable rates! How can this be? Right in downtown Lenhartsville. I'm a satisfied repeat customer.
I was on my way from CT to NC when my tensioner pulley seized and the belt got shredded. I was on 78 and got off at the Lenhartsville exit and was told by the locals about Doug's shop. I had the tools to replace the pulley but no way to get to an auto parts store to get it. He ordered the part and let me install it in his parking lot, and even gave me some brake cleaner and the one socket I didn't have. This was such a relief and a blessing for me. Absolutely love this place! They are such nice people, very honest, and friendly. They do great work in a very timely fashion! I have taken multiple vehicles there and I would never go anywhere else! They know their stuff!
