My bad experiences with this place started January of 2019. My 2005 Jeep Liberty was towed to Mercer’s for something that was going wrong underneath the hood and near or within the engine. There was thumping noises and thumping that I could feel through the gas pedal. They called my dad and said I needed a new engine, and a new, used engine would be around $2500. On a long drive to my daughter's house, I started having issues in my Jeep Wrangler about halfway through the trip. I went to Mercer Automotive, hoping I wouldn't been there the rest of the afternoon because I didn't have an appointment. Doug came right out and looked at my Jeep.
