In March 2026, my 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE, a fully electric vehicle, experienced a serious multi-system failure while in active traffic, stopping uncontrolled in the middle of an intersection. Because the vehicle is fully electric and the failure was complete, virtually nothing worked. Hazard lights were non-functional, doors could not be opened electronically or manually, and the vehicle could not be shifted into neutral.
