Really Nice The staff are professional, polite and supportive. My apartment was nice and clean when I moved in. I was a little concerned about the area but it’s actually ok! The short walk to Bontana’s is definitely a plus. I really enjoy my living space.... and the tall windows provided a great as well.
Terrible management, unhelpful. We moved in in March. Let's go over some of the things wrong with this apartment complex: 1) slowest elevator that you will ever be in 2) no trash chute, must take the slow elevator to the ONE dumpster they have 3) nowhere to turn in a maintenance request, and since the ceilings are 14ft high, you can't get to the fire alarm when it won't stop beeping 4) No lights above the shower---good luck shaving 5) only one of the rooms has vents that work...that room is 60 degrees while the rest are 75 6... read more
Apartments are beautiful, Building itself could be safer and cleaner. Current resident here, Mercantile has GORGEROUS apartments. I currently rent a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and the granite countertops, spacious bedrooms, polished concrete and vaulted ceilings can't be beat. The workout equipment in the basement is also a definite perk. My only complaints are the neighbors like to leave trash all over by the dumpster instead of picking up what doesn't make it in, trash in the lobby, and I have even had someone leave throw up out... read more
Beautiful, spacious, pet friendly, new appliances & on site cardio equiptment! I've lived at Mercantile for about 18 months and have no major complaints, I have a 2bed/2bath unit. The views are unbeatable, the lofts are spacious with brand new everything. Counter tops are granite and fridge/washer/dryer/shower is all full size (in my 7 years of Milwaukee apartment-living experience... that is hard to find). Great building, never had an issue I have been living in Mercantile Lofts for 7 months now and it has been great. Never seen a car broken into as other posters have stated. Walk my dog through neighborhood at night and never had any issues. Management has been great with package deliveries. The storage area in the basement is very nice that each unit gets. Had a great experience so far with no major issues.
