Sleazy zombie debt buyer collecting bankruptcy discharged's – I had to declare bankruptcy after job loss back in the beginning of 2009. My utility bill was included for a home I no longer lived in. Utility company has it correctly marked as a balance of $0 and discharged in bankruptcy with last report month being my month of discharge in May of 2009. Illegal Debt Collection – They get one star because you can't proceed without it. First this outfit has called everyone in my Mom's family harassing us about an alledged debt my Mom had. My mom passed away. They have been told repeatadly to STOP the callse and harassing everyone in my late Mom's family and yet they continue. Unprofessional – After my husbands unpaid credit card (15 years old) went to this collection agency we called to settle his debt. I paid the settled monies in March of 2010 with the agreement that this would be taken off his account. In July 2010 it was still on there. I called regarding a simple letter stating that this debt was paid in full so I could do the leg work contacting the major Credit Check places and was treated very rudely. Gave me a fair shake – This agency gave me a fair shake. They answer the phones immediately and you do not have to wait or get caught up in a circle of options. The person I dealt with was very professional, spoke slowly and made me feel at ease. It's my fault that they are calling in the first place, hey things happen and good thing we have time to dig out versus getting sued right away. If you work with this agency they are willing to work with you.

Biggest F@cking a$$hole company in the United States – First of all they call all the time and do not have any accurate information about anyone. They also break ever consumer credit law by releasing information about people to complete strangers. I think they actually purchase lists of debts that have been written off by creditors, and they try to extort money out of people, mostly because people do not know their rights as consumers. Contacted the wrong-number, were derisive when informed – We became aware Mercantile Adjustment Bureau through a number of off-hours calls to my residence - leaving nothing but a callback # at 866-809-7506 They were looking for someone whom did not live at my residence.
