My husband and I made a list of five 55+ independent living apartment properties in the Vintage Park, Klein and Cypress areas. We made a checklist to begin our search. After driving by all five, we narrowed our search to two based on curb appeal alone. We made a tour appt. with Mera first. Maycie was our guide. We walked the entire property with her. The maintenance department is good. Management is NOT good. They don’t take care of issues, like people smoking on patios, homeless sleeping on porches at night, people cussing from balconies, people that don’t live here getting in gate and taking up parking, NO AFTER HOUR NUMBERS FOR WATER FLOODING APARTMENTS , and mail room packages all over the floor. Plus once they know you are moving they start messing up on posting your rent received correctly.
I’ve experienced 2 other places, and Mera is far the best on all counts. Friendly people, the staff is the best, many amenities, plus I have a small, but private grassed backyard plus my patio for Gina. It’s heaven compared to the 2 other properties that I’ve experienced before this! But it’s been well worth the move - twice - to get here!!
It is very nice and quite very well kept up. I’ve had no issues whatsoever.
