I am not sure why there are bad reviews. But my daughter receives treatment here and the staff has been above and beyond and everyone has been friendly. It's been a long journey trying to find the right treatment, and this place has been a blessing. I would recommend over and over again. People need to realize mental health practices are hard to come by and people who take their time to help others isn't an easy job. I do not recommend going here unless absolutely necessary. They are understaffed and half of the staff that they do have are irritable, rude, and unprofessional. There are a few gems in the rough there that are very kind and helpful, including my therapist. They have let me daughter run out of her medication multiple times. When I finally do get in touch with them, they tell me they will call in refills to my pharmacy and don't. Always call your pharmacy and check! I leave voicemails and never get called back. I received treatment here. It was nice that they have a sliding scale, for financial struggles but that's about the best thing I can say. The front staff are not kind at all, especially on the way out. except for the girl at the check in desk. Then I finally get back there. They put me on a bunch of meds that I did want to try, but then treat me so weird when I'm experiencing side effects and refuse to come up with any suggestions that don't sound worse, and Everytime Im having an normal, real life reaction to a very sad or ... read more

I came here for therapy, and they put me on papers in 5 minutes. The first thing I said was am I going to have to be comitted today if I speak with me you? They told me no, and then called transport to send me to The Rivers. I asked 2 different police officers if it was legal for them to lie to me like that and they said they just made a mistake. Now I have transport coming to take me Columbia against my will. I just wanted to talk a therapist, and they spit in my face.
