A friendly mental health program with many resources and a proven track record of helping clients reach their goals and move forward with their lives. First off I want to say this is an amazing program, but it is what you make it you have to surrender to the help as well. I was at Both residential and the outpatient program, I can honestly I would not be where I’m at today without the help of this program, the resources available and the staff. Lacy, she was in charge of the program that went on in the center, she cared for everyone as an individual and never made anyone feel unseen. My experience at the Mental Health Center of San Diego was truly life-changing. My therapist, Stacy, and case manager, Arrica, were both incredibly supportive, compassionate, and professional throughout my time there. I would come to them in so many different forms; they accepted and cared for me in all of them. Stacy creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where I feel heard and understood.
