Our home burned in April of 2022. Blusky was hired the following month in May. After months of no work being performed, the roof and 3 walls were removed. Again, a few months went by with no work being performed. In Ocotober of 22 we terminated them. We paid $105,000 for the initial down payment. After termination we were charged $50,000 for the little work performed. When I spoke with them, more excuses and then I was spoken down to. Our home was started last weekend, April 22nd. ThIs morning, 4/29, when the work crew showe... read more

This organization was assigned to my home due to a homeowners insurance claim. Every project they were assigned to in my home was not done professionally and had to be fixed multiple times. From painting the home, to replacing tile in the master bathroom, and lastly the hardwood floors they had to "refinish and or sand" 3 times. This organization did a horrible job and continued to send the same contractors back to "fix" their work. I requested new contractors to complete the issues and was denied. They are leaving a 2 ft wi... read more

Business response:

******************, Thank you for voicing your concerns. We understand your frustration, as our teams know this flooring project was a little complicated. However, we completed the work we were contracted to perform, and when there was an issue with the outcome of the maple floor stain, we recommended returning it to its original finish (by sanding as you mention), as maple flooring does not hold stain very well, without a conditioner applied first (which you chose to forego). Regarding the divot you mention, or rather, the ... read more

Blusky was called in to do a restoration on my kitchen and bathroom from water damage. They did awful job!! They left a lot of the job undone. No lighting fixture for the ceiling in the kitchen and no replacement tile for the tile they had to take off in the kitchen and bathroom. They also left a hole in the wall in the bathroom. They threaten you with a lien on your home and collection agency if you don't pay them. To think my insurance company recommend this business and I gave them an ear full regarding the problems.

Took 1 year & 3 months for a 6-7 month repair. Moved into the house without hot water, without working HVAC, bathtub not hooked up properly & water leaks in the majority of our sinks. Since then have had to replace the ceiling 2x due to pipes not being installed properly causing ************** replacement. Company attempted to charge us for Marble Flooring we did not pick (they put it 2x on the same invoice). Attempted to charge us $3k for Blinds that they previously advised only cost $600. Since November of last year I have... read more

Blusky was called into do a restoration on 2 of my homes. One was for water damage one was for mold. The one for water damage their workers did more damage than what originally needed repaired, they cut ceiling tiles inside my home causing the need to clean all our air ducts. They were to replace drop ceiling tiles. First crew did hit or miss on my tiles and my husband and I had to go to our basement pick up all tiles from the ceiling and **** ones replaced. So the manager could get another crew into replace them. My ceiling... read more

Did not complete work as assigned. Was charged for work not completed and after I complained about shoddy work completed and I was not going to pay, they decided to take a lien on my house. I have pictures of work not completed. After 5 months of back and forth and a lien taken out on my house, I decided to pay and get this piece of c*** company off my back. Do not hire this company...especially if you get a guy named ************************* to assist you. **** poor work from a **** poor company.

I ACTUALLY FEEL RELEIVED - READING THESE REVIEWS. I have unfortunately experienced these scoundrels, after losing my home to Fire, right before the Holidays 2021. They came to my home unannounced, broke into my boarded up garage, trampled all my personal items while dragging a garage door that had fallen off in the fire. They then proceeded to add a door and lock the property which was Red tagged, without my knowledge, nor a key for access. They also seemed to have rummaged thru my personal heirlooms, as many things were str... read more

As others have stated, this company is terrible. They seemingly have no idea what is going on at any given time, no sense of urgency to get the job done and care only about collecting money from your insurance. If it weren't for my diligence they would have absolutely cheated me out of over $25,000 all the while harassing me about getting them paid for work that wasn't even complete yet. Dealing with them is a nightmare. They showed up after the literal worst night of our lives (we woke up in the middle of the night to a hou... read more

Business response:

We regret to hear of the frustration Mr. ****** is experiencing. BluSky committed to restoring the property following a home fire, and there have been a few instances that have caused this process to be held up. There were some quality issues with product from our sub contractors that initially took place, but BluSky took ownership of this and ensured that it was fixed. Mr. ****** then went over budget on the flooring, and made a deal with insurance to help out with the labor costs. BluSky committed to getting the homeowners... read more

Do NOT work with BluSky Restoration Contractors LLC BluSky is not a company I would recommend to anyone. I had a water damage insurance claim and BluSky was a company partnered with my insurance at the time of my claim. The people I worked with from this company were not honest, not reliable, didn’t’ show up to appointments, didn’t answer calls, were unable to communicate, had no sense of urgency, and no drive to complete the project. It was extremely difficult to get answers on simple questions like “What is the budget for ... read more

Business response:

We are deeply sorry to hear about this unfortunate incident. Upon receiving this complaint, our new Vice President, Jack ******** contacted Ms. ***** immediately to reconcile and to get an understanding of the situation. We have offered Ms. *****a visit with one of our new Project Manager at no cost to review and assess all work that was performed to see if there are any other needs that should be addressed and to provide peace of mind. As Ms. *****mentioned, the work was already completed so there was nothing we can do at t... read more
