I have been going to Dr Mencius for about 3 years now. I find him to be very honest and forthright as well as a highly qualified dentist. He can be very blunt at times as to what you should be doing to help preserve your teeth, but I attribute that to his honesty and personally prefer that to someone who sugarcoats things to avoid embarrassing or offending you. He is and will always be the best. Low prices and great work. He is, in fact, gentle and caring. Forget what "Broke and Disgusted" said as this practitioner is one of the cheapest in the area. There was a time when his clinic was closed and I had to seek treatment at another location. I was charged nearly 8 times what I would've been charged there.

I went to Dr. Menius for a severe toothache. He was gentle and staff was excellent towards me. He pulled my tooth and he had to cut part of it out. He put stitches in and during the whole procedure I felt no pain. He didn't push about needing other work done either. He fixed what I needed then and I was done. Will definitely be going back to him. Yes I will recommend him to others.

by Disgusted and Broke in Asheboro, NC on Jun 7th, 2016 If I could rate - (minus) 10, I would. I will never go to this crook again. Very dishonest practices and not thorough at all. My insurance covers annual visits 100% no co-pay at all. This crook will think up any reason to get extra money, in my case, he said that since a tooth was not perfectly straight, that a special x-ray wing bite was needed, but failed to tell me that he charges $90.00 for it! I have been gong to dentists for decade
