RecommendedBeautiful hotel but $125 for a 7 lb yorkie is nuts and no specific dog area for potty. Also $28 a day for valet WHAT? Rooms were nice. Glad they had ceiling fan. But the room rate wasn’t bad for king. Was close to everything. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Saw no ghosts.
The Front Desk clerk was rude when we asked about a late check out when the training we were attending was held there. I’m sure they paid a pretty penny.The beds are full size not queen . The WiFi didn’t work, the 2 coke machines we tried was not working & the room was HOT! $75 for late check out was a little ridiculous!
Room is super nice. Cold ac and friendly staff. Awesome pub style bar. Small bathrooms is the only drawback.
Lovely hotel full of character
The beds were very uncomfortable. The rooms were very small compared to what I was told on the phone. It was loud and the a/c did not work. We had paid for two room for 3 nights. We were never told about the valet parking when I called the hotel after I booked my rooms either. Even our toilet would not flush right and the tub was stopping up. We also got a view of the roof. We were told on the phone when we called they would put us in a room with a nice view and in the main original part of the hotel. They did no such thing.

Historic and beautiful! Make sure you make time to have a drink in the bar and swim in the pool.
Enjoyed a Sunday Brunch at the hotel. Service was excellent and my waiter very attentive. Food was presented in a buffet with an omelet counter and a carver table. A glass of excellent Champagne accompanied the meal. Will return on my bext visit to San Antonio.
