I tried to pose an issue and this is how it went. “Ive been running for years and am now having (explains problem) with my HR. ““That’ll improve with conditioning ““As I said I’ve been running for years and this is new” “It’s just conditioning” as he walks out the door.

Amazing professional. Very caring, answers all questions in layman's terms making it easy to understand. Very compassionate human being. Highly recommended.
Dr. Mendolla's useless Nurse, Donna, works very hard to avoid helping. My 77 yr old, Veteran mother had open heart surgery 5 weeks ago. She has had ongoing severe stomach issues since she was released from the hospital. I contact Dr. Mendolla's office to see if any of her medications could be contributing to her issues. That is when I was connected to Donna for my concerns. She reached out to my mom, who was in the Emergency Room at the time, and questioned her about her meds. Dr. Mendolla is never too busy to listen. His patience with me during my aFib problem/treatments is remarkable. Although my body rejects most pills, he always has found a way to solve my problem. When hospitalization is required he is there to reassure me with his positive attitude and expertise.
Dr. Mendolla saved my life, explained what was going on with my heart in terms I could understand, and displayed a very positive disposition about him. I cannot recommend anyone higher.
This doctor prescribed my elderly mom a medication for her A-fib? (never confirmed) and it caused her a seizure, flatline and then she (conventiently) had to have pacemaker surgery immediately to stay alive! Think twice before taking someone's high recommendation for this doctor. His judgment calls are to be strongly questioned ethically and medically!
Always answers questions and explains procedures, medications, and special needs!
