I saw Dr. Mendenhall and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life. I went for a painful dental access and misaligned jaw. Dr. Mendenhall actually acted disappointed and angry when he aggressively poked on my teeth and it didn't cause me pain. Then they took dental and skull photos and he told me that I had a hole in my jaw and soft palette collapse following a recent molar tooth extraction that he couldn't do anything about the palette collapse. Had 18 teeth removed for dentures. Woke up in pain. Asked for novicaine, he gave 1 shot & then left the room. Never asked if I was OK. My face is horribly bruised. 3 days later pain is almost gone. Bruising underneath the lips, chin, both eyes are black. I believe this was excessive. I chose to go to an oral surgeon & pay more because I wanted to be asleep & minimize the trauma.
