We visited Mend Coffee for the first time today, and were blown away. The decor was so beautiful. The prices were very reasonable, and the coffee and food were outstanding. I was shocked when I got my avocado toast - it was such a big portion for the price and it was so good. The employees are what really make it a great place to visit. We have found our new coffee spot!
Very weird experience here. Male cashier did not acknowledge us or speak back when I said hi. Just stood there…menacingly. Started placing my order and once he spoke it was clear he had disability, so I tried to be understanding, even tipped. Waited for a receipt, nothing. So I asked for it, he ignored me. His demeanor was still very odd and off putting. Friend then ordered her drink, same thing. No acknowledgement and it just gave he didn’t like our presence. Excellent coffee & location!! I had their s’mores latte and it was so good.
I loved everything about this coffee shop! Before even learning the back story, I could just TELL it was specially and intentionally created with an "inclusive" mindset. I was so curious that I looked them up and I was happy to see I was correct on my thinking! This place is truly a gem🥰 My caramel latte and bacon, sunny side up egg, and cheese croissant were DELICIOUS🤤 I highly recommend ✨️✨️
