Its been awhile since I was last at menards. Had a gift card to use. Didn't realize they had groceries. Cashier was friendly.
I spent so much time in the outdoor Christmas decorations. I finally decided in two items. We were told both were out of stock. We offered to buy the display pieces. We were told we could buy those but couldn’t have them until Dec 21. Take the display pieces down if you don’t have them in stock. Time is valuable! Will not return to this location.
I looked at a christmas tree they had on display and when I asked about buying the tree, they told me it was discontinued and that I could buy the display but i couldn't take it home until December 21st. Long story short, they're more worried about having a bunch of trees on display for people to look at (even if you can't purchase and take one home the same day) than customer satisfaction.
