I really liked Menards when they first opened and drove 30 miles to their store, even though I had a Lowes nearby (I won't shop Home Depot). Last Fall I contacted both Lowes and Menards about donating a very small amount of pvc pipe to repair a leak. Lowes had me pick it up the next week. Menards advised me that I had to contact a special department, by mail, that handles donations. I wrote them a letter; no answer.
