RecommendedMy husband and I got married this October at Memorytown. Our wedding was absolutely perfect- even better than we imagined! It was so, SO nice to get married at the same place that all our guests could stay!!! Everyone LOVED that they could stay right on site and not have to drive. Just a few of the great things: the salon for the girls to get ready in (beautiful), the rustic, cozy feel of the cabins and barn, the bonfire after the wedding, the beauty of the scenery and kissing bridge!!! I have been here 3x over the last month and a half and the service has been getting worse with each visit. it is not well managed at all. You have to wait, and wait, and wait for drinks or food. I feel bad for the staff because they are understaffed and being thrown into positions that they are not trained for (last nights waiter was not only the waiter but the bar tender too, which she has never done before) The owner tried to blame it on a wedding going next door and how that was making him way more money then the bar. The food is mediocre, service is horrible and the owner is very arrogant. Will never be going back.
After staying at a local resort for many years that recently closed, our family decided to stay at Memorytown for a couple days. Rooms and grounds very clean. Activity director, Kevin was great! Loved the outdoor yoga class by the lake, Lyndsey was a great instructor. The only thing we missed was nightly entertainment. The Tavern on the Lake is currently opened Thursday to Sunday. (we stayed Sunday-Wednesday). Would love to see DJ Gregg Montgomery come to Memorytown! You know it's a great vacation when nobody wants to leave!
We stayed in the family cabin! family of 4. rode ATV, ate by the lake, so close to so much! and so quiet if you want to just stay in! I would recommend Memorytown anytime!! we had a great time!
Everything about this place brought me and my love true peace and serenity. We traveled from NYC for a poconos get away and this location was perfect. The cabins are so cute and cozy and really meet the expectations of a modern wood cabin. The property is just gorgeous! Small lake right outside your cabin and skyscraper forest trees surround you amongst the wildlife. The tavern provided a steak I can honestly say was better than any NYC steak I’ve ever had!! BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!!! My husband and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Lisa and the entire staff at Memory Town USA! Lisa and her team were extremely professional and made this entire process a breeze. I could not have asked for a better wedding venue!
