I have been to two weddings at Memorytown , one in the small barn the other in the big barn, they were both equally lovely. The only thing I didn't like was that in the big barn you did not have indoor bathroom facilities.
Stayed there in August 2015. Was referred by a friend who used to go there for family reunions. Rodeo was so much fun and the chuck wagon meal was authentic - loved it. The cabins are quaint and comfy. The bartender was friendly and accommodating and the prices were comparable. Too bad the shops were not open but I've heard they are working on that. Looking forward to going back.
We love it here. We spent last 2 years there for New Years Eve and booking for this year!!!!
I just spent NYE in Memorytown and though the Tavern was closed I had the best time ever. The newly renovated cabins are fabulous. I will be booking again soon.
What a joke in my opinion. Our wedding day was 07/18/15 I could write a book on what went wrong with our wedding day not to mention all the stress getting there. We had to drink water for our toast because they forgot to pour our champagne. Air conditioning shut down for two hours during a 4 hour reception. We didn't get the food we paid for and on top of that the last 2 tables had to wait 20 to 30 minutes to eat because they didn't have enough ready ahead of time. The property is beautiful but, for a week vacation at $110. A nite I had to provide my own toilet tissue, had no housekeeping service in our room so we slept on the same sheets the whole time and the shower was leaky, they didn't even provide a continental breakfast. We are VERY DISAPPOINTED... A waste of our hard earned money for sure...
