I took my daughter to MemorialCare for her 18-month well check-up, and she was due for her very first blood work. After seeing her doctor, we were sent to another room where two nurses were present—one male and one female. The female nurse, named LUPE, attempted to draw my daughter’s blood. Unfortunately, LUPE had difficulty locating a vein. I kindly suggested that if the left arm wasn’t working, she could try the right arm instead. Dr. Chelsea Nguyen is simply the best. I first started seeing her when I worked a few blocks from the hospital, and even now that my job is about 20 miles away, I still go to her. She’s warm, genuinely listens, explains everything clearly, and always makes me feel comfortable and heard.
