She canceled my first appt prior to the scheduled date. She had someone from her office call to tell me the Dr. couldnt work with me. When I asked why, she stated "I wasn't a good fit". I I was told it is because I am a 2 time breast cancer survivor and she isn't an oncology psychiatrist. Hmmm I'm still trying to process that. I've never been singled out because I am a cancer survivor.
Dr. Holenbrook came into my hospital room she was professional, engaging,friendly. When she entered my room she advised me I could not longer take Depakote for bipolar. It caused acute pancreatitis. She advised me that I no longer need to be on any psych medications. She stated that I unlearned a lot of unhealthy behaviors and trauma from childhood.As a result of it counseling has been very helpful. I’ve done alot of work on myself as well. Dr Patel is a wonderful doctor! She is very caring and she really listens to you and is very professional and very caring. I have been going to her for years and my daughter was also a patient of hers. And Penny is wonderful and professional and a great receptionist for Dr Patel. I highly recommend Dr Patel if you are having trouble with your mental health, especially during these times we are going through in this crazy world right now with covid 🥲
Dr. Patel is AMAZING she's been an amazing Dr and she's very centered on her patients. She has always returned calls quickly. Penny is an AWESOME receptionist she cares about the patients just as well
