My daughter was involved in a bad car accident in Stone County. The options were to personally drive her to the hospital or wait on a helicopter to take her. She did not need a helicopter and we felt that we should not misuse that resource. I was hours away so my other daughter on scene drove her to this hospital for immediate evaluation. My niece was involved in a motor vehicle accident tonight at which time she was brought into your Emergency facility which seemed clean and well staffed which were quick to assess her. Meanwhile your charge nurse Chris was the absolute most rude nurse I have ever encountered and am amazed that the man has a job much less is actually in charge after the way that he talks to people in the hospital I can’t imagine how he speaks to the other nurses! I had the worst experience at Stone County Emergency Room. I had a migraine that had lasted for days and was told by my neurologist to go to my local ER for a Toradal injection. The nurse was extremely rude. They would not allow my friend who had my medical information to come into the room with me. When I ask the nurse why she told me my friend could only come back if she would not speak. When the ER NP attempted to give me additional medication and I expressed my concerns about taking the medication, he told the nurse to j... read more

My Dad is a patient at Stone County Nursing and Rehab. He became ill yesterday and was taken to the ER. He was treated well and in a timely manner. His Diagnosis is Pneumonia. He is receiving wonderful care here and appears to be responding favorably to his treatment. Thank you stone County for your Hospital and Rehab center!
