I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with this facility’s billing department. Their phone number does not work, yet they keep calling me about an unpaid balance—even after they deducted the payment from my bank account. Avoid Nicole Tapia MD for inguinal hernia multiple revision repairs. She operated on me in December 2023. Less than 12 days later, she performed the post-op exam and concluded verbally, in front of her medical resident, that she was either detecting a pocket of fat or a recurrence. I was too stunned to speak but later realized that she suggested a natural recurrence less than 12 days after I was on her surgical table. Patient arrival at 6400 building has no wheelchairs readily available. If a single person has driven patient to hospital, it is very difficult to leave the patient in car, then go up to Medical office where appointment is scheduled, deposit your Drivers license to borrow a wheelchair and then go back down, load the patient on chair, leave them in lobby while you park your vehicle.
