I’m writing this review out of deep frustration and pain over the severe medical negligence caused by the anesthesiologist during what was supposed to be a routine surgery for my wife. Due to a clear and serious error, a pretty big hole was punctured in the roof of her mouth—yet shockingly, this critical complication was never disclosed to us. I went in this morning for a minor surgical procedure, and I had never had anything done under anesthesia before, so I was very nervous. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, the preop nurse at my arrival was so caring and sympathetic. She helped me with various things while I was extremely nervous. I wish I remembered her name, but she was a great nurse! I also think my postop nurse was amazing as well, she was very caring and informative. About 18 months ago I left a less than stellar review of the Memorial Hermann Surgical Center on the Katy Freeway. I went in last week for a procedure and am happy to say that the experience was the complete opposite of my previous visit. Everything was very efficient. I was in and out in less than 3 hours. I still think that being required to arrive 90-120 minutes before the scheduled time for the procedure is too long, but that is the situation everywhere😔.
