I have been ordering carnations my entire life because of their longevity. For Valentine's Day 2014 I ordered a big beautiful bouquet of red and white carnations for my wife and daughter, and they I was very happy upon their delivery. After about 3 days all but one of the carnations began to brown, which I thought was strange but I figured they'd recover since I've never seen them do that inside of a month.
