This review is only for Total Heart Center as I've had great experience with the ER, Cardiac Electrophysiology & Cardiovascular team. I had total heart failure 5 years ago and was transported to Memorial Regional and credit my survival and recovery to their team of cardiologists making me hesitant to write this review or change my cardiology provider after several years of terrible experience. Amazing staff—warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. From the moment we arrived, I felt at home. The care was exceptional. This review is for **Dr. Lawrence Reiss** specifically. My first (and only) consultation with him was among the worst experiences I’ve had with a medical provider. He showed no bedside manner, frequently talked over me, and didn’t allow me to fully explain my symptoms. He came across as dismissive and condescending, as though he were simply going through the motions rather than genuinely listening or caring for his patient. Gabriela Placentini is a fantastic member of the vascular institute. She took the time to examine me and THOROUGHLY explain my issue ,the options available to me, and my course of treatment.
This is an 2 day review. First day was horrible. Admitted with chest pain. Stayed in the ER hallway with multiple patients for 12 hours. No Hepa privacy for anyone. No rooms upstairs in cardiac floor. Moved from ER to hallway in 6th floor a stayed there for most of the second day. . Everyone in ER is busy and has no time for anything. ER full.
