I have been here for 8 years and I am probably going to close my account soon. I’m just trying to hold on! Even though their old kasasa checking pays us quite a bit of money (around $350-400 a year, even though they cancelled Kasasa tunes), back, it’s not worth the headaches of the issues with the “fraud detection department” that has been outsourced to a completely inept third party. After 40 years, I closed my account today. Members Advantage has outsourced their customer service and fraud department. It is near impossible to get someone on the phone that is in the branch. When fraud was reported on my debit card, the bank offered no help and withheld funds. My pleas to get my money fell on deaf ears as the outsourced fraud department were the only ones who approved disputes, NOT the credit union. Loyalty doesn’t matter to the credit union.
