I will recommend dr. Masuda only if you want to do whatever he wants. He is not a friendly person, never listens to the patient, it is not important for him if the patient wants to support a lot of pain to change all the bridges that he/she has because this don't respect his standard even though they are in a good condition. It is only important for him that the patient has money and respects him plan. He never accepts patients opinion. Excellent treatment, great office and surgical help. Very little pain, comfortable office but not much parking.
Dr. Matsuda is great and it reflects in his staff as well. The two implants I had done went extremely well and were not as invasive as I had imagined. The cost for implants is high but I was not as concerned about this as much as who the Dr. and facility were. Dr. Matsuda knows his work and I would highly recommend them.

Dr Matsuda did my dental implants, along with a frenectomy, and gum tissue grafting. To qualify my opinions, I have a horrible fear of dentists, and have repeatedly had bad dentist experiences with others. He, however, did an excellent job. He explained exactly what he was going to do, and then did it exactly as stated. My recovery from surgery went extremely well, and I didnt have any excessive pain even without pain medication(I took Advil for pain management for 2 days after). I was very impressed with Dr. Matsuda and his staff. The staff was curtious, friendly and knowledgeable. The procedure room looked to be operating room clean. His assistants were very competent. They seemed to have extraordinary knowledge of the procedures. Dr. Matsuda went over the procedures with me throughly and gave me options to choose from. THE DOCTOR IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. THE ASSISTANT DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION IN AN ANTICIPATED CHAIR-SIDE MANNER. THE FRONT DESK WAS VERY HELPFUL IN TERMS OF BILLING.
The doctor is probably the best in Hillsboro but the facilities are dated and somewhat unclean. The office atmosphere is not very pleasant overall; it makes you feel nervous and unwelcome the moment you step in there. But he charges a little cheaper for his work than other periodontists. I guess what you pay is what you get.
