Dr Yee is very professional and thorough. Only issue is the long period to have an appointment set, due to extremely booked schedule. It can easily be 2-3 months for an appointment.

Office hours are TERRIBLE. (8:30am–12:00pm & 1:30–4:00pm, Monday–Friday excluding state & federal holidays). There is no voicemail, so you need to call within these ~three hour windows to actually speak to anyone there. However, when you are able to get past the office, Dr. Melvin Yee is very professional & efficient.
Front desk receptionist is curt and speaks to potential patients in a way that is condescending and overall unprofessional. Will put you on "brief" (anywhere from 2-8m) holds in the beginning and middle of phone conversations for things like, "Hold on, I have to help this patient in front of me." Doctor requires referrals from patient's PCPs in order to schedule appointments, and is apparently booked months out; you will get treated like second-class without that referral fax. I see Doctor Melvin Yee regularly, twice a year or three to four times a year for my debilitating migraines, depending on how the condition is. Doctor Yee has been my Neurologist for over ten plus years now. He is very punctual, speaks clearly, explains exactly what the options are; pros and the cons, and he does a thorough examination for my condition on each visit.
