Phenomenal stop, was advised of it by someone who lived nearby. We visited on a Sunday and were the first ones there. We ordered the Oinker and soup, both were great. My wife and I were able to split the sandwich and they even gave us two separate plates. The sandwich was delicious and service was top notch. Would definitely return if in the area or driving by. Don't let the fact it is attached to a gas station make you think it is anything buy amazing.
5.27.25 updated review: I said I wanted to come back to try something more classic and that's exactly what I did. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted. It was after lunch hour so we missed the rush and it was pretty quiet inside. The same employee (I don't think she was wearing a name tag) who took our order was smiling, friendly, and personable and even when she wasn't helping customers, she stayed busy with other tasks. Fantastic food and great service! Meltz lives up to the hype — creative, flavorful grilled cheese sandwiches that really hit the spot. We tried the Huckleberry Heaven and The Pinker — both were absolutely delicious and unique in the best way. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed!
I saw a review of Meltz on a FaceBook post so I decided to give it a try. I absolutely L-O-V-E Reuben's and decided to try a half a sandwich and a chocolate cookie for dessert. One of the absolutely BEST Reuben's I have ever eaten! The pickled red onions and the sauce made the sandwich even better. So glad I only got the half because it was more than enough for one meal. The chocolate chip cookie was fantastic as well. 10 Thumbs Up for sure!
Great service, unique local vibe and so many uncommon combinations make this a fun gastronomic experience. We had the Caprese, Pepperosa and Briqueso. All there were universally enjoyed.
