I can't recommend this business. An employee, Rob, came to my home, took off the glass and screen of the fireplace, stuck his head inside, and diagnosed a problem with a valve. He used no testing instrument and made no real explanation of why this valve was the problem, or why is wasn't any other problem. The whole routine took less than 5 minutes. Great Service .. Can't go wrong with Melton Heating and Cooling. Great people and five star service and both heating systems, air condition systems. They also have a fire place store and provide fireplace maintenance. They are very honest and professional with service calls..
Melton's Heating & Cooling is a First Class Company. I requested bids from 3 different companies and Melton's was the only one that followed through. They showed up on time for the appt and I received the bid in a timely manner. Plus they were very helpful in explaining the different options along with tax credits and rebates. I am planning on using them to replace my furnace and would recommend them over other companies in Salem.
They are there for you They WAY out of their way to help me with a thermostat installation. Very nice of them and the cost was very reasonable.
