Melton's App & Tap is a great neighborhood hang out. Very interesting atmosphere. Looks like it was an old pub in the UK but has a lot of families that eat there- very kid friendly. Really good menu. A lot of beers, wine, etc. to choose from.
Great food, laid-back atmosphere Melton's is a great laid-back neighborhood pub. We eat there at least once a month - even though it's not in *our* neighborhood, it's worth the drive. Their appetizers are delicious and different - try the cheese puffs (yummy mounds of cheesy pastry that taste a little like Cheez-Its) or Irish Nachos (waffle fries with all of the fixings - cheese, jalapenos, bacon, etc.) Melton's has one of the best veggie burgers I've ever tasted. Nice Patio! Melton's App & Tap is a cool little bar in Dectaur, GA. The outside of the building is a bit strange; it is located in a small shopping center. The patio is really great and the food is quite good. It is not a place I would normally go to based on appearances, but it turned out to be a great little place.
Mmmm, Irish Nachos! Irish nachos: potato slices piled high with chicken, cheese, bacon bits, etc. Pure heaven! Also, be sure to try the cheese puffs as they are positively divine. The atmosphere is classic in-town and the food is great. Definitely a winner!
