Food was cold and bland. I don’t think the chicken fried steak was really meat. They may have some good things on the menu, but I will never be back to find out.

Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your visit at all. May I ask, did you bring this matter to anyone while there? The reason I ask is the CFS is one of our #1 sellers and is a all beef item. If there is a problem we need to know to fix it. Again sorry we were not what you were looking for.
I have never had a steak that was boiled in butter. I would recommend searing the steak first then adding butter.. Fatty, and just weird. Disappointed �
Such a friendly place, great Southern food-cute country diner. Love the rolls and cornbread they serve before dinner!
The shrimp seemed frozen, wasn't good, was 87 degrees in the restaurant, burgers must be good, probably will not go back
Jeff interacted with us on our wedding personally on our tasting, he didn’t push us, and was for us not our money. Great food. Super low prices.
Absolutely loved it. Every once in a while a place lives up to the hype. This was one of those times. The chicken fried steak was the best we have ever had. Melt in your mouth. It was a “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” place we wanted to try! Glad we did!
Hungry for country fried steak, this is the place we go. We have never been disappointed at any time. I do however miss the breakfasts when they were open for breakfast.
Best in town and in Texas. Highly recommend. Love the atmosphere.
