RecommendedHad a Great experience at Mels Country Cafe today. With all that is going on in our World today, they were cleaning everything thoroughly. As we went thru the door the manager was cleaning the door handle, short time later he was cleaning the door leading into the kitchen. The young people cleaning the tables cleaned everything on the table after each group of customers left. As a cake decorator - Grammy Cake - www.facebook.com/grammycake - weekends are filled with weddings and parties - so I can only speak to the catering and staff! They are wonderful! We love seeing them listed as a vendor! Delicious food, professional staff and so many options! Yum yum! One of these days I will make it to the cafe itself! Until then... I will just keep waiting until the next time we work together at a wedding! Thanks guys!

Really good home cooked meals. Very friendly and efficient staff. Large portions. Not a pretty place, but the food makes up for it.
Great food and great service
it's crazy good and the portions are huge. Can't get enough of their chicken fried steak and the cabbage.
The catfish is my favorite. Great service, and friendly waitstaff.
We have eaten at Mel’s a number of times. The past two times we had to wait a bit because the place was packed with customers. The staff are friendly, the food is great (especially the chicken fried steak), and the atmosphere is family friendly.
