Believe me when I say this, the whidden hospital is better than this place now. I had a recent experience with someone I know that made come to this conclusion. For years I would've swore by Melrose/Wakefield hospital, their professionalism has gone down the tube and I'm sorry but if you do not have a good bed side manner than u should not be working there. LIKE EVERYONE, EXCEPT OF4 PEOPLE IN THE WHOLE BUILDING
Their ER can be really bad, but it depends on who is working. If you get Dr. Garett Burke, run fast. Drive into Boston if you have to. If you get Dr. Andrew Sclar, stay around because he is competent and he’s really nice. I don’t know anything about the regular departments at Melrose/Wakefield hospital. I had an fMRI on the 2nd floor and it was fine. Technicians were nice. Radiography seemed accurate.
I got hit by a car cycling to work 11/6/24 and was treated at Melrose-Wakefield and everyone there was beyond competent and I couldn’t have been left in better, more experienced hands. Bedside manner was immaculate and I suffered severe trauma so I don’t recall everyone’s name, but I believe an ER nurse named Andrea but also may have been Victoria, there was a Victoria and Andrea, both great, but one of them was kind of my saving grace that morning, and my PA I remember her name was Madison.
