Schönes Hotel, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Gute Lage. Parken teuer. Aussicht auf Hof. Tip Fahrrad oder e-bike mieten, das gibt es ein paar hundert Meter entfernt und ist eine schöne Art Washington kennen zu lernen.

I recently stayed in Washington for a few days, for some college visits and a brief visit to the Georgetown neighborhood. The Melrose Hotel was an excellent location, given its close proximity to the Foggy Bottom subway stop and walking distance to the Georgetown neighborhood. Upon check-in, I was greeted by Geo, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was kind, patient, and realized we were tired, and explained that there’s freshwater and coffee for us. This hotel offers competitive prices and an upscale vibe. We used the hotel as a launchpad for Georgetown exploring and it was perfect. The walking distance was great for so many great parts of the city. We had a billing issue that was handled promptly after checkout. While they didn't do anything to help us celebrate a birthday that was mentioned in the reservation, they did comp our valet parking. We found out suite to be comfortable and solid value for the area.
