Es un hotel medio, pero como en todo DC se paga carisimo. Las habitaciones son muy grandes, pero todo en moqueta, las camas blandas, el aire acondicionado ruidoso y el baño tieme cortina y no mampara, y no hay ni perchas para las toallas. En resumen, necesita una actualizacion , tiene muchas cosas decadentes y resulta antiguo. A pesar de todo es agradable, tiene cierto ambiente en el Lounge y la ubicacion cerca de Georgetown es excelente. we stayed at the Melrose Georgetown hotel for America’s 250th celebration last weekend. The hotel is a historic boutique hotel located close to the monuments and the White House. Her room was laid out very well with excellent furniture and a very comfortable bed. The coffee and tea service every morning in the lobby was excellent. There is limited food service, and bar service in the hotel and no ice on each of the floors. We could get a small bag of ice at the front desk, but there were no ice buckets to store it in. You straight up need to be more transparent about that 35.00 fee and also have it included as part of prepaid purchases. Other than that, five stars, good stay

Very kind people the establishment charged us an additional 35.00 a day (5 day stay) as a historical building fee? If it wasn't for that hidden fee I would have given them more stars not the staffs fault, I get that. So no fault to them they were fantastic
