Emplacement idéal, chambre spacieux et lit confortable Mais, mais, mais… Le service chambre ne passe que tous les 3 jours. Il faut le savoir. Ce n’est pas dramatique mais étonnant… Le frigo est bruyant. Mais il est indispensable car je vous conseil d’acheter la nourriture et vos boissons dehors. Ne buvez pas l’eau en bouteille! Je l’ai fait quand je suis arrivé et j’avais très soif. C’est une fois avoir bu que j’ai vu qu’elle coûte 10$ plus taxe. Rien ne justifie ce prix. Great looking place. A bit of an older remodel to the historic hotel. Definitely not a 4.5 star. The AC is non-existent. I’ve asked the front desk and they said they don’t have ac in the rooms. They are on a “winter schedule” with highs in the 80s. They suggested I crack open a window. Offered to send up a box fan. This was advertised as an air conditioned hotel. The Melrose Georgetown Hotel location is excellent. Close to the Foggy Bottom Metro Station as well as Georgetown, GW University and Kennedy Center. Communication before our arrival was excellent. The front desk staff member that checked us in was kind. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in was not up to the standards we were expecting from the immaculate and chic lobby area. Perfect location. Short walk to Renwick gallery, White House, monuments. Nice rooms, plush lobby with plenty of space to gather with friends. Free hot apple cider in the afternoon in lobby was a nice add-on. Really enjoyed our stay.
