So we came to MM in Coralville during the last Friday of the month family night the mall does. Mellow Mushroom was the highlight of the night. We ordered half holy shiitake (for me the mushroom lover)and half mighty meaty(for my husband the mushroom hater), when we received our pizza it had mushrooms throughout it and sausage and onions on the other half. The food is good, don't get me wrong....but the service is absolutly awful. I've been here countless times and the servers are never in a hurry to get things done. They are all in a corner just goofing around and a manager leaning against the wall. Twenty minutes just to get a drink and then another ten minutes just to order our food. That is thirty minutes just to get everything ordered. Absolutly absurd. Service is key in the resturant business. Theres something Magical about Mellow Mushroom!! The RedSkin is about the best Pizza I have ever had. The crust is a unique flavorful masterpiece on its own! Its fresh funky and fun!! Cant wait to do birthdays here this month!!!!!

The pizza is good. Mellow offers a nice eating option in the mall. It's worth taking a second visit. I had a much better experience the second time. I can assure you the staff cares about its customers!

Ate lunch there today. Our server was Amanda. We asked if they had applesauce or yogurt for our son with Down Syndrome, he only eats certain textures. She said no. The next thing we knew she came back with some. We believe she went to Target and bought some. We truly appreciated the gesture and left her a 25% tip for it. Also our food was awesome like every other time we have been there.

Excellent service. Our kids had some hoagies, a burger, and we had pizza. Amazingly fresh! We will be back soon.
