We are the originators of Classic Southern Pizza, & our unique and flavorful crust is a true original. The idea back then was the same as it is now, to make the delicious, craveable slice of pizza on the planet. The Mellow founders dreamed of a world where happiness could be found in the simplest things; like mouthwatering slice of pizza and an ice cold beer

Phenomenal!! Great food! Great drinks! Great atmosphere!!
The food was excellent! However be prepared to wait for 45-60 minutes for your food to arrive. They were NOT even busy and it took quite awhile! BUT, after trying the food, it was totally worth the wait! My chicken sandwich was excellent and my boyfriend said the burger was the best he ever had! My daughter had an all neat calzone and she also raved about how good it was! We will definitely be back when we aren't on a time schedule!

We live in Burlington. So we don't go to Iowa City very often. But we've been here 3 times now. And we haven't been disappointed yet.

It was awesome, I wanted a Bass, but out off the 200 some beers they didn't have it. The bartender, recommended Scrimshaw. It was excellent. Very close to a Bass. We had the egg and glutin free crust. It was amazing. Loved the mellowterrian pizza. Later found out the Bartender was the owner. He sat and talked to us. We will be back. Loved the atmosphere and the food. Great experience will recommend to all my friends. It was my fourth time there, I have never been disappointed. Can't wait to go back again.

Loved everything about this restaurant. Enjoyed being texted when our table was ready so we could walk the mall. The veggie burger was amazing. I thought at first it was beef! Salads were fresh and the others loved their burgers. Our waiter was efficient and so pleasant. We told him we were meeting for the first time in 15 years and he told us to stay as long as we wanted. We sat for 2 1/2 hours and never felt rushed. Excellent food and staff = 5 star restaurant.
