We are the originators of Classic Southern Pizza, & our unique and flavorful crust is a true original. The idea back then was the same as it is now, to make the delicious, craveable slice of pizza on the planet. This location is the only one that I have ever had a bad experience at. Right now though I will give it to the coralville mellow mushroom! They are 3/3!!! 3 out of 3 times it has been godawful food or service or both.
The gluten free pizza is delicious. Every time I'm in Iowa I eat there and the waitstaff is friendly and courteous. I highly recommend!
Unfortunately poor service. Menu seemed great but they need to work on their kitchen efficiency.
Everything was so slow. The amount of time from when we ordered to when we had our food was 90 minutes. Appetizers didn’t come out early. Had to ask for a salad and chips that were forgotten. Had to ask multiple times for drink refills. When we complained we were told that the typical wait time for food is 45 minutes to an hour (pizza, salads and sandwiches) and that the kitchen was short staffed. Spoke with numerous other customers around us and it was this way for everyone. They at least gave us a discount.
