i think the service is great and the management is too.
In the past two months alone, I have had two botched repair jobs at the store, and on July 23rd, my bicycle was abandoned by the store staff at a bike-parking tent they'd set up at the Downtown Farmer's Market: the tent was taken down 2 hours before the market ended, and i came back from getting my coffee to find the tent, table, rack, and bikes all gone, and my $750 bike standing unattended, against a wall. I thank goodness it wasn't stolen, but will never do business with this store again.
I have to give a shout out to Ben at Mellow Johnny's. Today I started a ride but quickly realized my brakes were not working. I left the ride and went to the store ( this was around 7:30 am Saturday morning) and just walked in and Ben took a look at my bike right away. He fixed the problem and told me what to do once I got back home to San Antonio , and then did a few more lubrications and checks to make sure my day riding in Austin was a good experience .
