Terrible customer service, particularly from a jewelry establishment. My husband spent $1600 on a diamond tennis bracelet as a Valentine’s Day gift. The bracelet was too snug on my 6” wrist, so my husband went back to ask MJM to add a jump ring—$5 worth of gold that would take 30 seconds to put on. MJM wanted $75 to add the ring. My husband and I recently went to MJM's Brooklyn storefront for forever fastened bracelets - his third time, my second - because we love the experience so much! Stephanie helped us out this time and I really appreciated her taking the time to make sure our bracelets were perfect, as well as just chatting with her about jewelry and stones (she clearly loves her career and is a wealth of knowledge). The team at Melissa Joy Manning is a delight to work with. I've purchased many items from her online store and in store as well. I was able to have Melissa redesign some heirloom pieces for me and they turned out beautifully. Melissa had great suggestions for resetting some stones into new ring designs and they are just gorgeous. I'd highly recommend the MJM team for custom projects. You won't be disappointed. Yes, these are my stones from a necklace, ring and charm - her work is exquisite.
Melissa Joy Manning is amazing! I had a stone that I wanted to reset but couldn't decide what to do with it. Melissa suggested a pinky ring, and I trusted her vision! When I opened the ring box yesterday, it was even more beautiful than I had imagined.
