Three months later and I am still dealing with both Melissa and Dr. Roan's dereliction of their responsibilities to ensure that I have the proper medical care I deserve. Both Melissa and Dr. Roan allow their unqualified and often absence staff to totally run the department. I can never seem to get the same staff person twice. When I send a message to one, I often get a response from someone else. They know nothing about my issue and thus I have to go through the whole process again. All to no avail. Melissa is the worst of all care givers at MMC. She is more concerned with protecting her non-professional staff than anything else. She won't return call; Prescriptions take at least 72 hours. My pharmacy tells me they can't get a response, other patients in the waiting room has told me how difficult it is to get a response from anyone in the Endocrinology department and my primary care doctor has told me the same thing.
