I really liked Melissa, she is thorough and goes over everything. The reason I gave her only 2 stars, is on my annual blood tests, she had me tested for something and said I was a high risk. I'm not a high risk so insurance refused to pay. I live on a very limited income have been making $50/month payments for a $400 test that was absolutely never needed. If you want a competent and compassionate doctor, look elsewhere. After getting great service from the staff and nurses at her clinic I decided to make an appointment for myself. A huge feat, because I have anxiety and I fear making doctors appointments. I wasn’t listened to at all, nothing but assumptions because I brought with me work accommodation paperwork. She is very thorough and detail oriented in the care she provides her patients. Example: she was reading the results of imaging she had ordered for me and the doctor who interpreted the results said I had a hysterectomy. Before I could correct that-she looked up and said "wait a second, that's not right....where did they come up with that?" She pulled up the imaging and was able to see an outline of a uterus...she said she would pass it back to the interpreting doc to change. She is that good. She must have excellent memory.... read more
