Dr. Elder and her nurse Heather told us our son had SCIDs ( boy in a bubble disease) A deadly pediatric emergency where the body has no immune system. They urged us to put Valganciclovir, Pentamidine, and Immune globulins into his system intravenously before conducting the genetic tests which came back negative. We have seen Dr Elder for almost 15 years now. We can’t speak highly enough about her. She is a brillant doctor with an incredible bed side manner. We love her.
Dr Melissa Elder was a life saver for not only myself but my daughter as well. For my daughter we spent 6+ months seeing other Drs in our area who all did incorrect tests and diagnosis - they put us off and didn’t want to take the time to see my infant who was just getting worse.
