I’m very disappointed with the way this office handles new patient appointments. I called last week to schedule an appointment and was told that a specific staff member handles new patient scheduling and would reach out to me within 24 hrs. I also submitted an appointment request through their website. After not hearing back, I called again and was once again told that the person responsible for scheduling would contact me. The doctors — Dr. Adrouny and Dr. Graham — have excellent bedside manner and I have no complaints about their clinical care. The administrative staff is a different story entirely. Here’s what I experienced: My appointment was canceled without anyone notifying me. I only found out because I called to request an earlier appointment. I was sent to Labcorp twice but the office only sent the requisition once, resulting in me paying out of pocket. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Adrouny and her team. She supported me through my entire fertility journey (ups & the downs) and pregnancy, and always made me feel heard, supported, and fully informed of my options. I never felt rushed during our visits and she really took the time to get to know me. Her office staff are kind and welcoming every step of the way. I'm also so thankful I had Julie as my doula. After being in the hospital twice for severe hyperemesis this weekend, my Wife was released after IV treatment, and was told to follow up with a treatment plan and for disability to her OBGYN. This morning 6/24, after being at the hospital all day yesterday, my wife was continuing having extreme symptoms and almost fainted on the floor. We waited until the office opened at 9 AM expecting help. We were instead turned away and advised to go back to the hospital.. I cannot express how grateful I am to Dr A and the staff at her office. I was a late transfer to the area at 32 weeks pregnant and was put through the ringer with finding a doctor that would let me attempt a VBAC due to time between births, BMI and the VbAC calculator being less than 50%. I contacted over 30 and was turned away being forced to a c section. Thank god I found Dr A. She listened and cared more than any doctor I’ve ever had.
