Me calling at 4pm: “Hello. I was wondering if you had availability for 1 hour massage for tonight.” Melinda (Presumably): “Uh, first off, it’s very late on a Saturday night. Also, I’m not accepting new clients.” The last part of the response was perfectly understandable. The first part was unnecessarily and theatrically condescending. Melinda may be the very best masseuse on the planet, for all I know. However, I now have no intent of ever finding out.
