Every visit with Dr Simon I feel heard, educated about my health, and cared for. The amount of compassion and care I continue to experience with Dr.Simon at every visit surpasses my expectations and I am so thankful to have a provider like her! Thank you!!!
Amazing amazing. She found my skin cancer early on, and I really believe she saved my life. Very responsive, thorough, and kind. Would absolutely recommend her.
When a patient tells a doctor that they have an allergy to a specific type of suture, one would think that the doctor would use something else...however, dr Simon used exactly what I told Her I was allergic to. My wound got inflamed and my sutures started spitting and i had to go to another doctor to fix the issue. They had to cut my wound open again! Left the entire medical system of northwestern due to my experience with this doctor.
I am so glad I went to Dr. Simon! She and her staff are exceptionally kind and knowledgeable! I have had a few appointments with her, and have been seen right at my scheduled time at each visit. She explained things to me in a very easy to understand manner, including the problem and treatment plan. I just went back today and confirmed my skin condition resolved. They also offer me free samples since I have very sensitive skin. Great derm office!!
I have been seeing Dr Simon for over 2 years and LOVE her. She is sweet, caring and amazingly knowledgeable. She is hard to get into when a new patient but after that she will accommodate you if possible. She also is amazing with follow ups. I would suggest emailing her via My Chart to get quick responses. Her schedule seems quite cramped with patients but she responds (or nurses respond) quite quickly via email. I recommend her highly.
While Dr. Simon was very kind and polite, she seemed rushed and walked out of the room while still explaining answers to my questions. She simply prescribed a topical steroid for my daughter's eczema which had been done at a general dermatologist in the past. The eczema continues to reoccur and I'm looking to find a new pediatric dermatologist for my daughter's skin issues.
I had several small issues to discuss with the doctor, but was informed at my visit that only 1 item would be covered. I had to pick the one item. I was told that I would have to make a subsequent visit for each concern. I found this rather unsettling, since none of the issues, in my opinion, were large. Dr. Simon was professional, but I would not return to this practice for my dermatological issues.
Good dermatologist as it relates to skin health. Though following two poor experiences with Botox injections with Dr Simon, would not recommend for Botox.
