Why is the Exit Gate STILL BROKEN AFTER ALL THESE MONTHS it’s really a shame ! They will send emails regarding keeping the property clean , but they don’t care about the GATE ! Melis medical center is the only apartments on elmundo st with the GATE BROKEN allowing thugs from holly hall street to come break in people cars !!! Fix this darn ghetto GATE how hard can it be to FIX THE DARN GATE !! Residents here we all hate the new management they don’t care about anything and haven’t made any improvements !
Recently my car was towed, I have lived here for 5 years, I know the rules of parking. The parking spot I was in did not have a Reserved sign when I parked. Apparently Melia rented out the spot and have no set notifications to ensure the space is clear. My car was towed and it was $398 since I was unaware that it was even towed. Melia refunded me only $300 leaving me with the remaining of their error. The tow storage attendant even stated to me that Melia is always towing their own residents. Update: The management company, Sandalwood Management in Austin TX, refused to give all my money back, minus the application fees, of course. This is robbery! How do these companies expect people to live under management operating fraudulently. While I appreciate a refund of any kind, I should have been given all of my money back. At first, I thought this place would be our new home BUT I wish I never set foot here. They were late opening for a 10:00 AM tour to start, yet, I overlooked it. My car had got towed from one of the reserved spots I was permitted to park in. The management was so sweet to accommodate this for me that they right away called me the next day and made sure I had a reserved parking spot for my apartment I.e 132a and also promised me a credit if the towing bill towards my rent. Ms Esther is the one who made this happen for me. I greatly recommend her for anyone going to this property. Since day one she has been my go to.
